Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms are a contract between you (the merchant or business installing or using the Service) and [[LEGAL ENTITY NAME]] ("SourceVision", "we"). By installing the SourceVision app, using app.sourcevision.com, or using this website, you agree to them. If you act for a company, you confirm you may bind it.

2. The Service

SourceVision measures how AI assistants describe and recommend your products, proposes content and structured-data changes for your product listings, applies the changes you approve through the Shopify API, and keeps a ledger of those changes so they can be verified and rolled back. 3. Beta and founding partners

The Service is currently offered as an invite-only beta. During the beta it is provided free of charge, may change without notice, and may contain errors. Stores that join during the beta ("founding partners") receive a 50% discount on the then-current list price of the plan they choose once paid plans begin, for as long as they keep a paid plan without interruption. We may end the beta or a store's participation in it at any time, with notice by email.

4. Your account and store

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the product facts you confirm. Proposals are generated from those facts; you review and approve every change before it is applied.
• You are responsible for your listings' compliance with the laws that apply to your products, including advertising, labeling and health-claim rules. We apply guardrails to what we generate, but the published content is yours.
• You control theme publishing. The Service never publishes or deletes a theme.
• Keep your Shopify credentials secure. Uninstalling the app revokes our access.

5. Approvals, writes and rollbacks

The Service writes to your store only what you have approved in the app. Each write is read back and recorded with its prior state. You may roll back any applied change from the ledger. If a write fails to verify, it is recorded as failed and not treated as applied. You acknowledge that changes to your listings may take time to be reflected by AI assistants and search engines, and that we do not control how third-party assistants answer.

6. Fees

When paid plans begin, fees are charged through Shopify billing on the plan you select in the app, in advance for each billing period. Prices are shown before you confirm a plan. You can cancel from your Shopify admin; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period and fees already paid are not refunded, except where the law requires.

7. Acceptable use

You will not use the Service to publish content that is unlawful, misleading, or infringes others' rights; to probe, scrape or overload the Service; or to resell it without our written agreement. We may suspend access for breach after notice, or immediately where necessary to protect the Service or others.

8. Data

Our privacy policy explains what we collect and how we use it. You keep ownership of your product data and the facts you confirm. You grant us a license to process them to provide the Service and to compute anonymized, aggregated benchmarks. Raw AI scan answers, which contain no personal data, are retained by us and used for benchmarking; benchmark data rights remain with SourceVision.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, its software and its documentation belong to SourceVision and its licensors. Content generated for your listings and approved by you may be used by you without restriction on your own listings and marketing.

10. Third-party services

The Service depends on Shopify and on third-party AI providers. We are not responsible for their availability, changes to their terms or APIs, or the content of their answers.

11. Warranties and liability

The Service is provided "as is". We do not promise a particular visibility result, ranking, or sales outcome. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, or for lost profits or revenue, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or, during the free beta, to 100 US dollars). Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app. We may terminate these terms on 30 days' notice, or sooner for breach. On termination your data is deleted under the retention periods in the privacy policy. Sections 8 through 14 survive termination.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and, for material changes, email the account address at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date is acceptance.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [[GOVERNING JURISDICTION]], and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer or business protections in your country.
